Rustic, Country Farm Wedding

Your wedding is about your love, commitment, and about you!
The Goronson Farm is a working farm, this means that while it is very beautiful, there are animals who call our farm home.

Some couples prefer an animal-free ceremony, and some prefer to be in the thick of things and share space with the flock. If this is you, you may choose to be married in front of Daisy Duck’s waterfall. This area is in back of the farmhouse and is surrounded by flower gardens and the ‘working’ portion of the farm which caters to the avian residents. A tent can be set up in this area for a Roosters & Royalty cocktail reception with the Duke of Lemon, The Duckess of Oldenburg, among other characters. We have a mirrored, baltic labyrinth to walk through and symbolically meet each other and join hands at the end. There are many possibilities for ceremony and reception depending on your desires as a couple!

We can provide a list of local wedding photographers or you can have your photos taken by family & friends. When reserving the venue, to-be-weds can rest easy knowing that they will have exclusive use of our farm during their event.

The Goronson Farm consists of over 5 acres of farmland, this means that there is plenty of room for a cocktail party, a ceremony, as well as many photo opportunities. Here are photos from around the farm that showcase some of what we have to offer.

Off-peak is considered weekdays, M-Th during the months of May through mid-November. Peak is F, S, Sun during those same months. We can host 50-75 Guests

2024 Wedding Ceremonies

We are a new farm venue that became a wedding ceremony site in 2022. All 2024 reservations will include our team's Day of Event Coordinator to make sure your big day goes smoothly. Also included are 15 floral arrangements, a 20’X20’ white event tent, 6 cocktail tables, and four large farm tables and benches. Exclusive use of your chosen space on the farm. Use of the Mirrored Baltic Ceremonial Labyrinth, Daisy Duck's waterfall, or the natural rose arch for your ceremony.

Wedding Officiant Contact

For those couples who have not yet found an officiant for their special day and ceremony - we recommend Patricia J. Gordon, who has been working as a qualified wedding officiant in Maine since 1996.

In her own words, “Your love is a perfect story, let me help you tell it, in a ceremony like none other, written just for you! People don’t want to listen to me drone on about marriage; they want to know how your love story began. Let’s give the people what they want and a few laughs too.”

You can learn more about her, read her portfolio and reviews, and get in touch at her website www.putaringonitmaine.com or email her at putaringonitmaine@gmail.com
