Goronson Farm is a small, MOFGA-certified working family farm in Scarborough, Maine. We provide the location for a country wedding ceremony, welcoming couples, and their guests. Guests are sure to be impressed by the bountiful nature that surrounds the farm and its charming chickens & ducks who spend their whole lives living here. (We are a no-kill.) Our site allows guests to immerse themselves within nature and ditch the hustle of everyday city life. Yet, we are located just 15 minutes from downtown Portland and white sand ocean beaches.
Our farm provides the opportunity to host an affordable, small-wedding ceremony & reception event in a peaceful, spiritual setting for your daytime wedding ceremony and reception.
Here couples can gather their closest friends and family to be married in the Ceremonial Mirrored Baltic Labyrinth or on one of the lawns, surrounded by fruit trees, tiny vineyards, flower gardens, chickens, ducks, and friendly staff members. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Portland, and 1 hour 45 minutes from Boston, we are also just 6 minutes from local restaurants which can cater a sit-down dinner for a continuation of your wedding day. Our farm is easily accessed and a convenient choice to hold your small daytime wedding ceremony, après wedding cocktail reception, and wedding photoshoot.
Floral arrangements made from the surrounding gardens are provided for your tables. You can ask your caterer to provide farm-to-table small bites prepared with our local organic produce & fruit or with our free-range, pastured chicken & duck eggs. One-of-a-kind floral designs provided by the owner.

Goronson Farm can welcome up to 85 guests for country-style ceremonies.
After the ceremony has ended, guests can snack on hors d’oeuvres & champagne while the couple has their unforgettable wedding day photographs taken on the farm. There is room for up to 18 cars onsite. Larger groups must take a shuttle bus or Uber. The property includes an outdoor toilet.
After the daytime ceremony and reception, the couple may choose to rent another venue for a sit-down dinner and dancing. Several such venues are within close proximity.
We invite to-be-weds to take a tour of the venue before your celebration. Couples can rent the venue from 10 AM until 7 PM to hold their wedding ceremony, and après wedding cocktail reception while the bride & groom have their wedding photos taken in some of the numerous spots providing beautiful wedding photo options.
Pets are not allowed on the property for the safety of our livestock.
Outside of the main event, the venue can also host other daytime events such as wedding showers, engagement parties, and elopements.
Our team’s Day of Event Coordinator will be there on your special day to help make sure it goes smoothly.
You must reserve food and drinks from one of our approved, licensed caterers. No food or drink may be brought to the farm except by a licensed, insured caterer on our list. Goronson Farm does not offer in-house catering or bar services. However, we are more than willing to work with vendors as long as they are agreed upon by us and also fully licensed and insured in the state of Maine. Our venue is hands on when it comes to communicating and meeting with all vendors. A list of approved vendors is available upon request.
We do not offer on-site lodging. But there are numerous lodging opportunities close by and we are close to all the attractions and hotels in the Portland, South Portland, and Scarborough area, ensuring that you and your guests have a place to stay and things to do.
Our farm is reserved for daytime only events. All events must end by 7 PM.
