Deposit to Hold Vintage Hand-carved Fish Trade Sign
$125 nonrefundable deposit to hold the piece for pick-up by July 30th.
This is a decorative, hand-carved wooden fish - probably from the 1990s. It is very large and measures approx. 38 inches in length, 26 inches in height and approx. 8 inches thick. It is unsigned. It would look great hanging from a ceiling, beam, or on a wall. It has a thick wire mount for hanging it. The fish shows beautiful carving craftmanship, particularly in the scales and fins. There is a 4” nick on the back of one of the fins, but cannot be seen from the front. Original cost was somewhere around $2,200, but its next lucky owner will be able to purchase it for $350. It weighs about 50 lbs and can be picked up in Scarborough, Maine.
