Ground Sumac

Fresh Sumac hand-picked off of trees on the farm, dehydrated, and hand-ground by our farmhands. Sumac, a Middle Eastern spice, grows as a beautiful red berry and it grows very well in Maine. The flavor profile is tart, lemony, and fresh. It is best served on fish, meats, and in salad dressings.
